The prospector has been the classic open canoe design for well over a century and versions of it have been manufactured by dozens of different companies (and individuals). This recenty acquired boat is suitable for paddling solo or tandem, and doesn't have hte shoe keel" that tended to trip up the old Coleman boat. It's also a lot lighter and easier to put on a car roof !
