Warning: owing to lack of precise dates and lack of any documentation at all in some cases, this index has rather more of the air of a construction site than we would hope. As always, construction sites are very likely places for accidents, so don't rely too heavily on this if you are writing a history of Dales' exploration :-)
Much of the stuff concerning cave exploration abroad has now been incorporated into this index in addition to the comprehensive coverage of the Dales.
